dire charmed pets may only be level 46, but quad for 149/hit. well worth the aa spent if you are soloing, out dmgs any pet till the 75+ range, but dont think you would be using this at 75 unless you are farming in nadox/veksar. also dont use this aa around healer mercs, they will strip the charm buffs off any mobs you have charmed.

5/28/2013 · Before I last retired from EQ , I made it into my 60s around the PoP days, and after months of leveling I was excited to get the Dire Charm AA so I could finally have my own permanent pet that could do something worthwhile (better than the Nature Walker’s Behest Pet). So I spent some of my previous few AAs on Dire Charm , and got some use out of it …

3/27/2004 · Dire Charm will let you permanently charm an animal up to level 45, the charm will not break. At high levels, the use of this skill goes down. But the developers of EQ were nice enough to add Dire Charmable animals to many of the PoP zones that druids can charm to add to DPS while aggro kiting, or in a group.
