4 Types of Tinnitus | Audiology Associates, 10/12/2002 · When the sound first installed itself some months ago, I actually wondered whether it was maybe something other than Tinnitus . After some months, I think it probably is, and maybe a progression of inner ear/cochlea damage as I’m getting older. (I’m 54.) Just wondering if anyone else here has this sort of very deep droning noise with their Tinnitus .
